In the last several months, we have been hosting more and more friends and family in our home and it has been such a treat for us. It used to be hard to invite people to our old house because where our old place was in relation to where our friends lived, they would inevitably sit in traffic. But now, we are busting out dishes and linens and making baked ziti and all types of BBQ and trying new recipes for dinners and desserts and loving that our doors are open!
Eden has particularly taken an interest in hosting gatherings. She and Ryder are such helpers, but Eden specifically likes all the girly details like the flower napkins and napkin rings and the special preparation that goes into our dinners.
So I was not surprised when I came into our playroom the other day and saw this:
I asked what she was making and she beamed the sweetest smile and talked for about 5 minutes on a "Bootifull party" she was throwing for people that she loves and the intricacies of the food that she was making, "pasta with bacon"...
I absolutely love this little hostess so much...♥
