Thanksgiving part 1

While I was working, Kit was with the kids up at his parents house celebrating with family.  He would send pictures and they made me so happy to see everyone together having a good time!  Herre were some highlights...
 craft time...
The day after Thanksgiving, the family took a trip up to Cayucos and and Cambria for time with friends at the beach and visiting a christmas village!
They had so much fun and I was SO sad to miss out on all the fun... I am thankful that they were able to be together and make the special memories.❤︎

thanksgiving 2015

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving on Tuesday and Wednesday morning Kit took the kiddos to Santa Maria on Wednesday morning to be with our extended family and I was scheduled to work on Thanksgiving.  It was so sweet to get to create a special memory before they headed off.
We made roast chicken, stuffing, and salad and we ate until we were very full...
Eden halped me set the table with our special chalk board place mats...
I just love my family so much!
Things I am thankful for:
1. My husband,
2. My two precious kiddos that I get to call "ours",
3. Extended family that we love and that love us so well,
4. A job that I love  where I get the sacred privilege  to welcome babies into this world,
5. Health to enjoy it all to it's fullest!
There is so much to be thankful for in all that the Lord has given us and I pray that I never take any of it for granted!
We hope that where ever this thanksgiving finds you, that you are surrounded by people that you love and that you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

An anual tradition!

This last Saturday night we got together with our close friends for our annual thanksgiving tradition of a raclette party: lots of laughter, food, conversation, family time, and joy!
We were missing two of our couples and their five kiddos but whenever we get together it truly feeds our souls and fills our hearts in a way that not many other things can...
 A table of pure YUM!
Sitting and talking for hours around the fire, bundled up, laughing, connecting, and enjoying where our 17 years of friendship have brought us.
These are our people, our village, our community, our family, and this Thanksgiving, they will be on the top of our list of what we are thankful for most.❤︎

The end of a soccer season...

This Saturday was Ryder's last game of the season and we celebrated with a pizza party, cupcakes, and an awards ceremony!
The last minutes of his game:
 Pizza at the park!
 "My first ever trophy mom!"
 The team!
The coaches each talked about the kiddos and what they saw about them on and off the field...
It was seriously precious!
(Ryder is sitting on the bench while his coach is talking to him...)
 With coach Marc!
We are so proud of this little man and we couldn't be happier about the experience he had...
Way to go Scorpions!

gobble gobble

Ryder recently came home from school and said "Mom, I made a Muppet!" (Yes, he meant Muppet and not Puppet...)  And here is the song we learned (to the tune of "pop goes the weasel"):
I had this bad boy stuck in my head for what felt like days, but he was SO excited about it and sang it with SUCH enthusiasm that I didn't even mind...❤︎

A School Thanksgiving Party

Yesterday, Ryder's kindergarten class had their thanksgiving parties.  We had so much fun!
Getting to dress up in their crafts was seriously the cutest!
Eden and her friend Scarlett.  They are the cutest together!
The class made butter the day before and they got to use it on their rolls!
Ryder was so proud of it!
It was an incredible morning filled with turkey crafts, turkey balloon races, and a feast that ended with chocolate faces. How thankful I am for our school, it's parents, and his classmates that have become friends!
