Celebrating our little "techie"...

Last Friday, Ryder was awarded at his school assembly for his achievement in technology.
This kid has the BEST teachers!
He has been using technology since I discovered that I could get a shower in peace when he was on it.  The projects that he does using technology are the coolest and I love that he gets to be celebrated for his hard work...
We are so proud of this kid!❤︎

is that SNOW?!?

We have had so much rain this Winter, and last week, we actually had HAIL and our kids sat and watched it as long as it came down!
It's the closest thing that we would get to snow, and it made our hearts so happy!

Backwards Day

Last Thursday, the kids had backwards day at school.  They could not wait, they were so excited about it!
I LOVE that they go to school together!

Our baby is seven!

Yesterday we had a little celebration that our girl is now SEVEN!
Birthday doughnuts and little presents were a hit with our girl:
Watching them together is the absolute sweetest...
And she got a doll form her Grandi and Monkey Papa:
I'm not going to lie, it is VERY life like and she keeps asking me to babysit it and referring to me as grandma...
 Our little ham...
Pulling out her birthday plate each year is such a sweet tradition...
She picked a little taco place by our house to grab lunch with Kit before he had to go back to work:
 She is the absolute best!
Our big celebration had been at the Great Wolf Lodge, but to have the day finally come was so special!
If time could slow down a bit that would be GREAT!

visiting, listening, and learning

Over Kit's last two weeks off for his personal health weeks/sabbatical, we were able to attend two local churches in our area, Hillsong OC and Anaheim Vineyard.
Our purpose for the visits was to listen and learn and worship and witness all the God is doing over our county.
It was such a good reminder of what the Kingdom is... to think of communities all over the area coming together to worship Jesus together as family...
It was good for our hearts, but I will tell you, I was homesick for my ROCKHARBOR family.❤︎
We are ready to be back with our people this weekend!

best friends

This last Sunday we got to have dinner with some of our all time favorite people.
Who would have thought that these roommates from their freshman year of college would not only have the deep friendship that they have today, but would have kids that absolutely adore each other...

The Great Wolf Lodge

We took the kids out of school on Valentine's Day and headed straight for the Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Eden's 7th birthday!  We surprised them! We have never done a birthday like this and it was SO. MUCH. FUN!
We had gotten her a birthday crown and this little lady did not want to take it off!
We decorated her room and got a ton of snacks and treats to make the time even more special!
Water park time!
After we got back from dinner we had cake, hid her presents and sang happy birthday to her and toasted to her and affirmed her and what she means to us...
The next day, we went to Cocos for breakfast:
We had so much fun at the park.  We went on everything and had so much fun making videos with the GoPro.  We did manage to take a few still shots...
We had the best time making memories and Eden felt so celebrated!
We will definitely be back!

Valentines recap 2019

Last week was filled with so many fun memories, it's hard to take a moment to capture them all!
Valentines day was so fun for us, because Kit was off and he and I were both able to attend Ryder's class party.
The kids had been ready to hand out their valentines:
Eden's teacher did a party with just her class and no parents and they had such fun.
It had rained so much that everything had been moved inside.  It was a party and the kids did not even care because it was A PARTY!
A game where you sit in a corner and see where an item ends up in the circle...
 Craft time:
Have I told you how much I love our Mrs. Shenton? We all adore her!
And just in case it wasn't already over the top, Ryder wrote how much he loves me...
It was such a sweet time and it got even better when we got the kids and headed out for our over night adventure to have an early birthday celebration for our Eden Marie...
