We are having our annual Halloween gathering tonight with the kids friends. We have been having CRAZY winds so decorating has been on hold and costumes are finally getting finished. Lots of pictures will come later! So for now, our kiddos on their first halloween! 2010 and 2012...
On Saturday, we had two games. First, driving to Ryder's in Irvine:
At our 11am service on Sunday, Ryder read a passage of scripture before our pastor taught. Kit was hosting and so they were up on the stage together.
I was struck by how much these two are alike and how much Ryder takes after his dad... I {might have} wanted to cry. I am so proud of our kids!
Thursday means my work day. Sometimes there is some silliness in the busyness...
Ryder requested to be the Chelsea emblem for halloween. So here's how it started: An old hula hoop and two dollars worth of poster board from the 99cent store.
This last weekend, we were able to go for an overnight with our church elder board and spend time together praying, listening, planning, laughing, and sharing meals together while we look to the Lord to lead our church in this next season. Here were some snapshots of our time together!
Eden was honored at her school's award ceremony for being exceptional at physical education by her teacher.
Ryder and Kit were off on a camping and hunting adventure the past few days! Ryder got a youth tag in Arizona and they were so excited to head out together! It was also a belated 13th birthday trip and both are SO excited! Each year, Ryder requests, instead of a party, that he goes on a backpacking trip with his dad. This summer, our usual camping spots were closed due to high water levels so here we are. I can't wait to hear how it went. They got to leave last Friday and we missed them...
