Trader Joe's for the win!

We follow the Instagram account for Trader Joe's and have been having fun trying recipes that they post and link up with their products.  We came across this one and knew we had to make them:
 They turned our AWESOME!
We will be making these again!
As always, trader Joe's for the WIN!

creating with my girl

This last weekend, while the boys were at the Broncos game, Eden and I had some girl time:  Hobby Lobby for a craft project, a special Trader Joes cookie sandwich recipe with tea in our wedding china, and watching My Fair Lady all snuggled up.
She chose to make an apron...
and she LOVED how it came out!
It was so sweet to be together.

A preseason game where some dreams came true!

This last Saturday, Kit and Ryder were given tickets to the last pre season game where the Rams played the Broncos.  Ryder could not have been more excited!
Then the boys headed down to a spot by the players...
 Right there...
And just when he didn't think the night could get any better, he got to meet Brandon McManus and get his autograph...
Pretty much it was an evening where my little sports enthusiast had his dreams come true...❤︎

Our little soccer player...

On Saturday, Ryder had his first game of the soccer season.  They are team INFERNO.
 His cheering section:
The won 5-1 and Ryder made four goals.
He loves playing sports and is SO excited to be out here again!
He was also awarded the "hustle" patch after the game.

I really enjoy being with the families and watching him play.  No matter if he is on a court, field, or mound, he gives his very best and plays his heart out!

Ryder's first school project...

Ryder finished his first "project": his "all about me poster."
Every year the teachers have the kids do it at the beginning of the year so that it is ready when they are the star of the week.  It doesn't seem that long ago that we were working on his first grade poster:
I know time will never slow down, but I can't help but ask it to anyway...

School...

Trying to get back in my groove of school prep has been a little rough, but slowly but surely we are getting there.  Lunches, notes, little homework, carpool coordination, uniform prep, and all that good stuff...
These babies of mine are growing like crazy and I am excited for all that this year holds.
Also, this is how Kit does Eden's hair and she LOVES it!

And so it begins...

Last week Ryder started his soccer season...
He had so much fun and he is so excited to be on a team with friends that he knows, and coaches that he loves.

quiet moments

I know it is very early in the year to say this, but I am still trying to get back into the routine of school.  From the prep before and after school, to sports and getting ready to do homework and projects... I am excited for what the year holds and trying to savor those quiet moments while the kiddos are at school.  My recent enjoyment has been organizing photos from the summer adventures.
Looking back at all the fun has been good for me to stop and give thanks. From friends and family, to places that we got to visit.  I am grateful for all of it...

Sunday funday with the family...

On Sunday after church, we headed out to have some time with our family before all of the weekends start to get full with activities.
So swimming and pasta for the win!
It was such a wonderful day.
Family time will always be the best time!

Saturday morning...

I woke up to this scene on Saturday morning:
These two working together to make french toast.
Now that's a great way to start our Saturday!
And then we got to celebrate these two people that we love that are getting married in May!
We love you Braden and Kaycee!
Overall, it was such a wonderful Saturday!

Missing this place...

I wish that I could zap us here for the weekend, but for now, reminiscing over the summer adventures will have to suffice...❤︎
Until next time, Shaver Lake, until next time...
