Merry Christmas 2021!

"There were shepherds camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you’re to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.” At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him."
Luke 2:11-14

Also known as Christmas with our Crabbs!  Each year our amazing friends host a holiday party and it is just magical.  With Covid, we weren't together last year, which made this time EVEN more special, if that is even possible...❤︎. Here are some snapshots of the evening...

A Mother-Baby Merry Christmas...

 All these Christmas babies!

I remember this time of year doing end of life care and oncology... I would be so sad!  In my unit now, even on really busy days, I am so thankful for the JOY that is palpable...

Christmas traditions with our Grandi and Monkey Papa...

This weekend, our Grandi and Monkey Papa came into town so that we could do our annual tradition of looking at lights!  We added some fun things in.  We took them to Roger's Gardens for the first time...

Then we headed home to meet up with our brother Ryan and his family to make cookies, eat dinner, and then see Christmas lights:
Then we headed to Brea for dinner at The Hat...
Then off to see the lights!
Brea lights:
Fullerton lights:
Photos never do this justice...
Then we hit a house in Tustin:
Then we headed home and ate dessert and played UNO.
We had so much fun taking part in memory making with some new and some old traditions.  We love these traditions, but we LOVE the people that we get to do them with even more...❤︎
