Vacation...

Today is the start of our annual family vacation in Oxnard with our family.
This week will be sprinkled with finishing All-Stars but I can not tell you how excited we are to get away together!❤︎

All Stars 2019

As we closed out the All-Star Season, I am so incredibly proud of my son.  There was not one game that my kid didn't battle it out, whether on the mound, up to bat, or playing in the infield.  He always gave 100%.
We didn't go as far as we had hoped but man did he have fun learning so many new skills, deepening friendships, building character in the losses and the wins, and learning what true sportsmanship and being an athlete is all about...❤︎

Alladin

We were so excited when this came out!
We saw it last week and we LOVED it!
Our AMC had $6 movies on Tuesdays and that made it even better!

Celebrating our Kit Rae...

June 16th was not only Father's Day,  but also Kit's 39th birthday.  And he and Ryder hosted at church, and we had our second All-Star game.  The. Day. Was. Full!
We started with celebrations on Saturday night:
We headed to  his choice, Lucille's for an early birthday dinner and gifts:
On Sunday morning, we got a tiny celebration in before church:
Ryder and Kit co-hosted the church services and I have to tell you, I was so proud of these two.
Since Ryder had a game at 12pm, he had to host the 11am in his uniform:
 Praying for the dads...
Eden Made her dad a special tie at church...
(Kit was very excited to hear that she thought his super power was to BBQ and that her favorite thing to do with her dad is to go on dates...❤︎
The day continued with baseball (A painful loss in the 7th inning on a TRICK PLAY by the other team... BOO! 4-3...) and our 7 pm service and spending time together in between.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We love you Kit Rae!
We hope you feel honored and loved, today and everyday!  We are ALL so incredibly thankful that you were born and we can't imagine life without you...
You are an incredible human being, daddy, husband, and friend.
We absolutely adore you.  Welcome to 39!  It's going to be an amazing year!
Family time!
My cousin Heather is on town from McCall, Idaho, and we tried to get as much time together as we possibly could!
First a family dinner together:
 There was exciting crafts and Eden LOVED it!
 Lots of food:
 Two sisters:
Had four daughters:
Who had 10 kids:
It's pretty sweet to all be together!
Then we had a girls only slumber party on Friday night!
We started the night by toasting to sisters and cousins and my sister got us matching rings:
 We ate at the Playground in Santa Ana.
 I will not do justice to the food with these pictures, but I had to try to capture a few of the items!
 Only one of us had been there before and it was an experience I will never forget, not only because the food was amazing, but because I got to sit around the table with three of my ALL-TIME favorite people.  When I think back to evenings or moments with people that I love and memories that will never leave me, this will be at the top of the list.  The only thing missing was Kit.
 We stayed up until 1 in the morning talking and woke up and went to an amazing doughnut place in Tustin:
I can't tell you what an incredible time it was, sharing life together, eating together while laughing until our sides hurt and savoring the fact that these are people that I get to call mine, and I am theirs.
How I love them and how I will count down the days with anticipation until we get to be together again!❤︎
What summer is for...
Slow mornings, in our pjs, eating doughnuts, that we got through a drive through...
And dinner is Yogurtland:
Summer, we are so glad that you are here.
You are what we needed...
A little mama care, brought to you by Eden Marie...
Eden has LOVED doing hair and I have been enjoying letting her play with all sorts of styles.  The other day I was in her "salon" for 2 hours:
At one point she asked if I would lay down so she could practice "braiding".  I fell asleep and woke up to these two photos she had taken of her creations:
 These summer days are the best!
How is she already in second grade?!?
