halloween parade

Yesterday was the halloween parade at Ryder's school.  Every kiddo dresses up and all the parents come and watch and all the class parties happen right after.  Ryder went as Clark Kent:
 Getting his whole class ready:
Mia and Papa make everything so special!
 Oh these two...
We are ready for a weekend of festivities!

father and son campout...

We have been blessed with some incredible friends, family, and community that have poured, not only into Kit and I and our marriage, but also to our kiddos.  This last weekend, a group of guys, many of which are our closest friends, and their sons, went on an overnight camping trip.
I don't think I have to tell you how life giving this was to my boys. They are already on the countdown for the next one!
I am so thankful and my heart is so full!

It's about time...

When we lived in Fullerton, I used SO MANY potted plants in our front and backyard.  When we moved, I really wanted to take as many as I could and so they have been in this pile in our backyard, just waiting to be utilized.
We have been in our house for a year and a half...
So I finally decided to tackle this little project in our back yard:
Yep, replanting, finding homes for pots and clearing our the rock area that has pretty much stayed untouched since we moved...
In the process of this project, I realized a needed to make a run to Lowes.
The quick little errand ended up with us spending a whole lot of time in this isle:
We did get back on track...
We eventually made it home to finish our project, but not before I had a little panic attack that all the holiday festivities are quickly approaching! Time needs to slow down...

Ruby's for the win!

Over the weekend, Eden and I went on a little date to Ruby's and then headed home for pedicures and to watch "Inside Out"...
Ruby's was just what we needed...
Since I told her we were on a date, she wanted to take a picture with the flower, like she had done when Kit gave her a flower on their date.  Well done Kit!
Yep, we were the goof balls waiting for our food and not caring about the looks around us...
We took the car home and it went right to use with her princesses...
Snuggles with this girl are just the best!
Time with my daughter is a gift and I am so thankful for it!❤︎

getting some special time together...

Last Friday and Saturday, Kit and Ryder went on an overnight father/son camping trip.  That left Eden and I to have some little adventures: One of the things we did was to unplug and head to Disneyland on Friday for the day.
 Meeting Snow White...
Eden was THRILLED!
Main Street:
 Meeting Ariel:
EVEN MORE THRILLED!
Our first time on the Storybook Ride:
The princess castles were her favortie!
 We rode the train...
Then we headed to California Adventure:
Midway madness is one of their favorites:
And then we ended with the carousel and The Little Mermaid ride...
 We had so much fun!
We missed our guys a little bit, but the time together was so special!
