Back at it...

Last week, Ryder and Kit started their Little League official season as Majors...

I remember looking at the kids who played Majors, while we were playing coach pitch and thinking that those kids were so old and BIG... Now here we are, 5 years later and it's all happening.  We are down to 2 seasons left with Little League and I will miss it!

Vaccinated

Yesterday, Kit received his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine for Covid-19.

I am so thankful that my hospital opened it up to our families that met criteria.  I am so thankful.  I am so grateful.  I am so hopeful.

together...

Over spring break a couple weeks ago, we were actually all four apart more than we were together.  At one point, the four of us were in 3 different places, which felt very unusual...  We have been able to have family time this last weekend and I was so thankful to all be under one roof!

I really love this little family of mine!

Something big is happening this weekend...

Ryder will be hosting a portion of our online and in-person services this weekend for Palm Sunday!
Man, this kid blows us away and we are so proud of him!

Time in Redlands

While the boys were still away and while I was at work, there was some fun to be had in Redlands for Eden with her Mia and Papa:

Library visits:
Gardening:
Special treats:
Slumber party time!
They had a day in pajamas day that started with breakfast in bed:
Then it was on to making lip balm and watching movies:
She had the best time with her Mia and Papa!

While the boys are away...

While Ryder and Kit were away on their camping trip with friends, Eden and I had so much fun!

We went and got crafting supplies for painting, jewelry making, and clay sculpting and spent time over the two days for crafting:

Matching necklaces for the win!
Painting:
Landscapes:
Making cheese pasta because it is NOT a favorite of Ryder's:
Face masks and Eden gave me a manicure:
We got Shamrock Shakes on St. Patrick's Day:
We went out to breakfast and played "Go Fish":
She is HILARIOUS!
We baked banana bread:
We walked on the Esplanade Trail and donated a fairy bench:
We got sushi because Eden LOVES it and Ryder doesn't so we went crazy:
And then Eden took the little makeup that I have and gave me a makeover:
We watched movies, snuggled up and had side splitting laughter, had amazing conversations and thoroughly enjoyed our time together... She is one of my all time favorite people to be with. The time was absolutely magical!
We are already planning on how we can kick the boys out for more bonding time again so that we can have our girl time!

A special camping adventure

Due to Covid, the 5th grade science camp was cancelled, so a few dads got together to plan time away over Spring Break to make memories and have a outdoor experience...

We got to use our Uncle Mike's rooftop tent:

They left a day early to go on a trip with our Grandi and Monkey Papa:
They may have bee spoiled with Uncle Mike's tent...
Grandi and Monkey Papa make everything amazing!
Then they headed to meet our buddies:
(It rained...)
Kit shared with me that on the way up, Ryder shared how with all the things that have been cancelled this year, the thing he missed the most were the things that he would do with his dad, like baseball practice and games and going away ad NOT being in a lock down...  The time filled BOTH of their cups and I was so grateful that they could have this time together!
