Some additions in Ryder's room

Kit and I had been talking about a way that we could document the kid's height in a way that would be a fun addition to the room, but could also be removable if we moved.
Here is what we came up with:
(Forgive the iPhone photos.  It was all about documenting it fast in-between naps...)
We painted a flat board (So that writing dates/info. would be easier) and then nailed it to the wall.
We matched the height of the door so that when it is open, you can't see it's there:
I cut out a flag from left over material from his wall art:
And then just used painter's tape to attach it to the wall:
It's really simple and I can't wait to keep track of our kiddos growth!
We have also had an upgrade for our little man who loves forts:

Ryder loves his new space.  He can stand in it and he can get to his whole bookshelf and toys so much easier!
