Kit took the ENTIRE day off yesterday. It was so wonderful to just enjoy a day of family time!
We carved pumpkins:
Ryder was not super excited about cleaning out the seeds:
Eden could not get enough:
Tracing hands to make the pumpkin's eyes:
Then came time to take the dinosaur and the butterfly Trick-or-Treating:
We have a small street and we pretty much know all of our neighbors, so the kiddos had so much fun talking to everyone and Eden was TOTALLY into going up to the doors with Ryder.
The cutest part of the evening, was before we called it a night, we sat talking on our front porch and Ryder and Eden gave out candy to the visiting kids. They LOVED it! Eden was REALLY into it too.
I wish that I had gotten a picture of it, but there were some visiting kids that we didn't know and I didn't want to take their pictures.

It was a wonderful evening. We always join our neighbors for chili and cornbread and just sit and talk way after the Trick-or-Treating is finished.
It was so fun to watch the kids enjoy themselves.
Now, I am going to have to figure out a way to limit the candy consumption over the next days and weeks!♥
Though he wasn't excited about cleaning the pumpkins out, he WAS excited about getting to help with the carving...
