tiny community

When Kit was a freshman, he roomed with Mike and Mark.
They have been friends ever since.  Now 21 years later, not only do we still get to call these friends our family and community, but our kids have connected to each other in the sweetest of ways.
Last week, Mikes youngest son Jack was diagnosed with leukemia.  It has rocked us all.
But here is the beauty of community, whether of adults or kids, illness doesn't change the connection that has been made.  These three men have a combined group of 5 sons.  This week Ryder got to go to CHOC and visit Jack Jack.
Ryder brought legos and basketball cards and they walked laps in the hallway with Jack.  Ryder made him a sports questionnaire for Jack and Ryder had so much fun asking Jack all the questions.
We love you Jack!  In the words of Ryder, you are "one tough cookie" and we love you so much!
