Israel snapshots...

Kit has continued to unpack his trip in Israel and the images each seem to tell such a unique story, and though it was not my trip or story to share, I can tell that our family will forever be changed by it...
Looking over Jerusalem...
 The garden of Gethsemane :
Said to be the birth place of Jesus in Bethlehem...
On a boat in the Sea of Galilee.  Kit had the opportunity to share from the passage in Luke 4:35-5:20 where Jesus calms the storm, on this very lake.
As we reflect on our recent trips and specifically Kit's trip to Israel, so many emotions have come to the surface.  And in light of today, as we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr, these images have been so powerful for me that I don't want to forget...

“Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”
~Martin Luther King, Jr~
