Nationals. Seattle. 2026.

This was the first time we have had the opportunity to go to Nationals with a soccer team. Well, any team for that matter. To be one of the top 8 teams in the nation was pretty exciting! Kit and Eden made an adventure out of it. So there was time for soccer practices and team bonding around the actual game schedule:

Soccer games:

They made it to the Semifinals!

They made it to the finals!!!

They made it to the Finals and I am just SO proud of how these girls battled!

They came in second, losing 0-1. It was a battle and she was so proud to have played and kept a clean sheet for the tournament.

There was also time that Kit made to make memories with Eden:

Because they made it to the Finals, they got to be part of the media day:

I’m so excited that she had the experience, that she had time with her dad and that they got to have memories that they will always hold close. All that said, I was SO happy to have them home!

Nationals, here they come!

 Kit and Eden left for Seattle today to join her team for Nationals. 

I can’t wait to hear all about it! I’m just so proud of her!

He’s back!

 On April 6, on his 16th birthday, Ryder came home from Spain! While he was gone, we were able to text and send photos! It made his time away feel so much less painful. Here are some snapshots we got, from their time around Barcelona to games and the MIC tournament, to the Easter service he attended at a beautiful cathedral.

We are SO happy that he got to have this adventure, but we are even more excited that he is home! Spain, thank you for being so good to my kid!
