Labor Day Weekend

We got to be with close friends in Shaver Lake over Labor Day weekend!

It was a quick trip but it was so good! We spent time at the cabin making meals, taking walks to the pond, playing games, watching comedy shows on YouTube tube and doing a whole bunch of laughing and talking. 

We spent one day hiking into the Burn for fishing, cliff jumping, and natural water slides. (Hank was sick so he had stayed home  that day…)

Then we spent a day at the lake!

Wedding Weekend!

Kit officiated a wedding in Santa Barbara this past weekend for a sweet couple from our church. Kit had the privilege to do her dad’s funeral at the beginning of the year and they have such a sweet connection! I got to attend as Kit’s plus one and we had such a fun time!

Getting into town and grabbing lunch at a favorite spot:

They put us up in this really cool boutique hotel called Drift on State Street!

Time in Santa Barbara as we stayed on State Street! We grabbed a tasty lunch, hit the farmers market then walked up the pier…

The wedding:(They had requested everyone be present and not use phones, so I didn’t really get many photos of their intimate event, but it was beautiful!)
