some good reads...

We have some new books in our house that we have been really enjoying, and wanted to pass the titles along: 

Kit has taken up a new hobby:  smoking and curing meats. He has been having so much fun researching it and his favorite book on the topic has been this one:

I'm not going to lie, this is probably one of his hobbies that I am the most excited about!

I was given the recommendation of two books, and I haven't finished them, but so far they have been amazing:

To be honest, the kids will pretty much read any book with illustrations that they can get their hands on.
