therapy animals

I love having these bunnies. They really bring me so much joy (and therapy…)

We just naturally gravitate towards spending time with these two every day…
I’m telling you, they are therapy.

These two bunnies bring us so much joy…

She was not a fan...

We took one of our bunnies outside when the weather was nice.

She did not like it.  She did not move from where we put her. She kept cleaning her paws and face, as if to communicate that the dirt and grass was just too much...😂 Summer is coming!

Floofie snuggles...

We really love having rabbits, but I think Eden and I love it most of all...

The floofiest snuggles there ever was...

I didn't forget you...

Often in the morning I get back from my walk and get breakfast going for the kids and do a morning devotional and get coffee going, and then I will look over to this:

Jelly Belly is the younger of our bunnies and is the more friendly of our rabbits.  She always looks at me like I might forget to give them breakfast... How could I forget?

when pets look like their owners...

I was holding one of our bunnies and had a clip in my hand.  I of course had to try Eden's signature hairdo on her:

Well, the bunny didn't know what to think but Eden loved having a tiny twin...ha!

We are still those bunny people

I find photos on my phone that have taken and I can't help but smile at how much we love these bunnies of ours.

We would 10/10 recommend bunny snuggles (followed by a lint roller...❤︎)

Snuggles

I love having rabbits.
These bunnies are the best snuggle buddies ever...

{up close and personal} bunny snuggles

Our littlest bunny, Jelly Belly, has this funny thing that she likes so do when we hold her: she wants to be directly on your chest and she wants to back her fluffy toosh right into your neck, then she makes herself comfortable while whoever is holding her has to look around her furry little self.  The other day I tried to captured it on photo:

If you try to move her, she just backs right back to where she was...
I never knew that we would be pet people, but these two have us loving it!
We are just smitten with these little bunnies!

Most improved, tiny referees, home haircuts, fluffy outdoor time and quick turn arounds...

The day we got home from Oxnard, we had a chance to celebrate our favorite swimmer as she was awarded most improved for her age group in swimming...  She is brave and courageous and we are so incredibly proud of her!

Over the weekend, Ryder took the classes and test to be a referee with AYSO:
He is SO excited!
Eden requested to have her hair cut before school.  Her hair is nice and straight and is pretty easy to cut, so it was fun to be able to give her the cut that she wanted:
I love this girl so much!  I can't believe that she is going to be a fifth grader!
We took the bunnies outside and for the first time, they enjoyed exploring:
We got back from Oxnard on Thursday, I worked on Saturday, we had a full day on Sunday, Monday was full of errands, and I am working today, and tomorrow we are heading out to Shaver Lake for time with our Biola family... Life is full but so good, and I want to remember all the little things that make is so outstanding!

Houseguest

Last weekend, we had had our friend's pit bull mix named Ali stay with us so that their house could be used to host guests that are allergic to dogs.  We did lots of snuggling:

He helped Eden get ready:
We went for walks:
not pictured, we picked up poop:

I am the first to say that I am not a dog person, but this dog was the absolute sweetest dog ever and he would be welcome at our house anytime...  The only thing was that we had to move our bunnies to the garage and I could only hold them outside when the dog was not around. We made due...

Also, our hydrangeas are in full bloom, so naturally I had to photograph the bunnies, because I am that person now...
P.S. Jelly belly was not about it...

Therapy animals...

We are heading into our last week of school, making the push to finish  all of our activities strong. There have been lots of emotions coming around, especially from me❤︎, as chapters are closing and these kids keep growing up so fast! So I have found that being with our bunnies have been a much needed addition to the routine... #therapyanimals

We will take every calming vibe that we can get...

Happy Friday...

I hope your weekend is full of restful moments in the midst of all the things that you might be trying to accomplish.  Eden is hoping that in between all the sports and church activities, she can get more snuggles with her favorite fluffs...

Happy weekend!
