For Ryder's birthday, he asked to go on a trip with Kit, So they left last Friday for Shaver Lake with our friends Mark and Hank, who turns 8 on the 16th of this month. We decided to celebrate him last Thursday night so that we made sure that Eden and I were part of the festivities.
I can't explain how unbeleiveably CRAZY it feels to see how old he looks these days...
He asked for a pasta dinner with asparagus...
Eden and I made him chocolate cupcakes of his choice:
He was so excited!
we had so much fun spoiling him. He is REALLY into baseball, basketball, and football cards right now. He got a few new packs for his birthday, with new sheets to organize them. He also got hsi very first tennis racket, which he said was his favorite thing since it meant he would get more time with his dad teaching him how to play.❤︎
We sat and gave affirmations to Ryder, and Eden went on and on about how much she loved him.
For her gift she picked out basketball Teenymates, basketball cards, watermelon gum, and BBQ flavored Pringles. He loved them all and she could not have been more delighted...
Then on Friday morning on his actual birthday, before school, we got to celebrate with doughnuts!
Of course we pulled out his special plate...
