Soccer, soccer, and more soccer...

This last weekend we had out Mayors Cup.  The weekend before we had finished out season, we came in second out of 16 teams going into the tournament.  We played two games on Saturday, the second of which Ryder made a goal in the first 15 seconds.
I represented with the pins! Always first year and current yers...
On Saturday night, we had our team party.
So we headed into the championship game on Sunday.
We battled the number one team.  Last time we played, they beat us 4-2.
 Talking before the game:
Ryder had the first goal.  We tied 1-1, which meant over time.  Then another over time.  Then a round of 5 penalty kicks for each team.  Then sudden death.  We lost in sudden death.  I am so incredibly proud of this team!  They came in second but battled the entire way.  I am incredibly proud how Ryder not only played, but how he leads, on and off of the field.  He is an amazing human being and he is SO excited for all-stars!
