A Kitchen Reveal!

When we moved into our house over three years ago, our house needed some love.  One of the projects that we decided to table until later was the kitchen cabinets. After researching what the project would look like, we finally decided to paint them.  We have spent the last several days carving out time to to work on our kitchen and we are so excited that we finally finished it!  We have a hard time starting a project and not trying to finish it quickly so that we can relax and just enjoy it,  so this project took us off and on 5 days with work, sports, school work, and church...
As some one who loves a good before and after, let me show you what it looked like right before we moved in:
After changing out the appliances and fixing the lighting issues, this his how it has been for the last little bit:
The process involved deep clean on the outside of the cabinets with warm soapy water and a scrub brush.  No sanding.  Three coats of the paint.  One coat of the wax and after the wax had hardened, a thin layer of sealer to finish it off:
The handles were found on Amazon and we decided to go with these five inch pulls for all of the cabinets:
The tile countertop was given a good old Comet scrub and they look so much better.(Other than being wiped down throughout the day, they have been neglected...)
Here is the finished product:
We LOVED that the process didn't involve sanding and though it was tedious, we would recommend it to anyone who was considering painting their cabinets, furniture...etc...
