For Ryder's birthday celebration, he decided that he wants to go on a hunting and camping trip with his dad in the Fall. So for his birthday he just asked to be together. We started the day with birthday doughnuts and balloons.
We watched Eden's game and then headed to the brand new Bass Pro Shop that opened right near our house.
They can't wait for their trip!
Then Ryder picked lunch at Dave's Hot Chicken:
It's really good food!
Then we headed to the movie theater to see Kung Fu Panda 4. We all really enjoyed it. I can't think of the last time that we all went to a movie! We always go to the Main Place mall and love it each time!
After the movie we headed to Avila's. We celebrate all of our special moments there... We went around and affirmed him and our favorite waiter came over and celebrated him. We felt so loved...
And then something really special happened that I have never experienced before:
A stranger paid for our meal. We don't now who they were or why they did it but I cried when the waiter told me. It was a beautiful close to the day of celebrating our oldest. I was humbled and moved by their gesture of generosity. I'll never forget it...
It was a wonderful day of celebrating our oldest. What an honor it is to watch him grow.
