October Books

Here are the books that I read for the month of October!

This is the 7th and final book of the Vanderbeekers series.  It was so GOOD! The story wraps up this family's journey as one family member is diagnosed with cancer and one of getting ready to get married and how they come together through the highs and the lows of each.  They was that Karina Yan Glaser writes her characters and story lines just makes you want to fall in love with all of them! I cried as I read the last few chapters. It was all so touching and I would STRONGLY recommend this series to anyone onf any age.  You won't be disappointed!
This book was FASCINATING and So timely for the age of parenting that we are in.  I am so thankful for the knowledge and data that it gives us as well as the tools that it gives as you navigate this rewiring of our kids and how we can best support our kids.  I would 100% recommend this book if you have kids in your life!

This author compiled 6 short stories along with a longer novela set in the 1930's and at some point in each book, characters find themselves at a table eating.  I loved each character in each of the shorter stories, that mostly take place in and around New York, and then the longer story and it's twists and turns... I really loved this author and I am excited to read more of his work!
If you loved the shows Gilmore Girls or Parenthood, this is a must listen.  It’s Lauren Graham’s story.  She reads it with behind the scenes emotions and insight and history that makes your love, especially for Gilmore Girls, even richer… It’s a must…
