Valentine's Day celebrations...

Last night we celebrated Valentines Day with our annual king crab leg tradition!

Crab, sautéed mushrooms, cheddar biscuits,and arugula and spinach salad...  I can't tell you how good this tradition is! 

It was our first valentines in this house and we can't wait to keep this tradition going for many years to come!

Eden's third birthday party!

Yesterday we had our family over for a little celebration to celebrate that Eden Marie is turning three!  Here were some little snapshots of the day:

There were hand made decorations and really good food thanks to my husband and we felt like we were able to enjoy the party!

We had a bounce house given to us by our neighbor and we ate Italian sausage and peppers and we sang happy birthday over a huge chocolate cake.

 We had a great time connecting with people and celebrating our baby girl.  I just can't believe our baby is three!

a big weekend...

It's Valentines Day weekend and we are having family in town to celebrate Eden Marie's birthday this sunday.  (We wanted to do it this weekend before Kit leaves for India on the 23 of this month.)

And pretty much any pink and orange thing that I have on hand... Even though the party will be small, it's so fun to plan all the details!  We are ready for our family to join us to celebrate this special baby girl who is turning THREE!!!

Alphabets and Jelly Bellies

We have been really working on our letters and trying to come up with new ways to make it fun and engaging.  Of course Eden had to get in on the learning fun!

He gets a candy when he gets the letter and sounds correct.
