A conference and some family time

This last saturday we went to a leadership conference at our church.  It was so good!

While we did that, our kiddos got to be with their Mia and Papa and visit their great grandma Marie

"I wheelie wheelie like you!"

Ryder is in a class with 17 kids, and only 4 or 5 of them are girls.  If you do the math, you come up with two things:

1. That's a whole lot of 4-year-old boy energy and

2. His teacher, Mrs. Stewart, is the most patient woman you will ever meet.

Ok, so all that said, they are having a Valentines Day party soon and we had the MOST fun looking up ideas for a room full of boys!  This is what we settled on... (Thank you Pinterest!)

 He is SO EXCITED to hand these out to his friends at preschool...

How great is it that there is a day to celebrate people that you love!

when life gives you citrus trees...

One of the things that I love about our back yard is that it has a lemon tree and a huge orange tree with some seriously tasty fruit on each.

My problem is that the tree is so big that we can't easily get to the tasty ripe ones at the top.  So Eden and I tackled the job of a Home Depot run to get ourselves a fruit picker.

She really makes the best shopping buddy...

We have been having so much fun making the BEST juice!

It is so sweet to watch my kiddos get so excited to watch an orange go from the tree to their glass in a matter of minutes! 

Super Bowl 2015

On Sunday we got to spend Super Bowl with friends, old and new and we really had the best time!

Ryder was super into the game:

Overall, Super Bowl was just such a great time!

they were hurting the next day...

This last saturday, we had our annual Turkey Bowl of flag football at our church.  Each of our campuses has a team and this was our Costa Mesa team.

 Even though we didn't win, (we didn't even come close), we had to best time hanging out with our friends, watching our kids play together, and a few of our families went to In N' Out afterwards.  Kit scored a touch down and loved taking time to just PLAY and enjoyed being with this incredible group of men.

(I will say that my poor Kit was so sore the next few days!  (And being friends with many of these guy's spouses, Kit was not alone. It's hard not being 18 years old anymore...♥)
