Ryder needed to give the Huggs a wash to get the salt off of it from living near the beach.
We’ve had some rain so I think it felt silly to wash it knowing rain was coming, but he was absolutely smitten with cleaning and detailing this truck..
Last week, our Grandi and Monkey Pspa came down to go to Disneyland and we got to see them they stayed with us. After their days at Disneyland, we would watch the Olympics, they came to Eden’s goalie practice, and we even got to grab dessert and catch up.
It was a really sweet time together.
Eden has been having so much fun with baking. She’s been experimenting with cookie and brownie recipes. Recently she decided to make cinnamon rolls from scratch They were SO good! She is spoiling us!
This last weekend, in honor of Valentine’s day, we had our annual King Crab dinner, however, there was absolutely NO king crab at any location near us, so we made lobster tails and they were SO good. The tradition of a seafood feast was in full force.
Ryder finishing up the artichokes:I love these people SO much and I love traditions like these that create memories for the four of us each year!
Last weekend, Ryder and Eden headed up Redlands to spend time with their Mia and Papa doing projects to earn some pocket money.
I’m so thankful for the relationship these guys have!
As soon as she could, she threw her gloves on and headed to her first catching practice with Ryder and Kit. She said it felt SO good to be back!
This girl is such a rockstar. I love watching her practice and battle in her net, even when she was recovering with her broken thumb…
This last weekend, we met up with our Biola family to attend the homecoming basketball game. It’s so nostalgic to be there! We had so much fun together. I love these people so much!
This last weekend on February 7, we welcomed a 1970 GMC Custom Camper to the family. It’s in the original Hugger Orange, so we are calling it the Huggs. We got to surprise Ryder and it was so special!
Welcome to the family, Huggs! Our boy has been dreaming of having a truck like you!
Ryder’s high school JV team won their league. Actually, their Frosh, JV, and Varsity won their league. It’s the first time all three have won in the same season in a very long time! It was really exciting!
I am so proud of these guys!
This last weekend, we got to attend our annual marriage retreat hosted by our church. It was so good! It was led by the Grace’s, who run a marriage counseling center out of Biola. He was our psych professor in 1998 and is such a good guy. They shared so much wisdom!
When we get intentional time together, it makes my heart so happy! I love this man so much.
