working mom

 It’s rare that I feel like a working mom. I’m only on one day a week and I don’t have to juggle it while I’m at work since Kit handles it. This week, however, I had one of those little moments where I had a sick kid at home, I was trying to finish dinner, had a TEAMS meeting at 5 and was simultaneously trying to figure out pick up for Ryder from soccer while staying connected to Kit’s evening work schedule and keep Eden’s germs contained.

It of course got done and everyone got what they needed but I was thankful that those moments are not my normal routine!

It’s good to be back!

 This last weekend, Ryder had his first games with his club team since the high school season came to an end. He had the best time and watching them take home two wins was so fun! It’s been too long! Also, my pictures are the worst…

… but the sideline was the best!

 Some snapshots of the weekend that were just so good, from fire pits to cooking together and either soccer or movie watching and taking walks in our neighborhood… These really are the moments!

Ryder…

 On March 1, Ryder went on his first official date. In respecting his privacy, all I’ll say is he is a kid that takes after his dad and is such a gentleman.

His sister is his absolute hype girl!

Dropping him off was so sweet. What a gift it is to have a front row seat to watching this kid grow up…
