We are in a season where so many things have been cancelled because we want to work together to get this world healthy again. We are on board with that and we are all about flattening that curve. However, with that, we have had to acknowledge loss. Specifically with Ryder, there has been the loss of time with baseball friends and families and traditions, missing time with classmates, not being able to go to youth group or Life Group, not being able to have get-togethers with friends. It's been a tough one for my highly relational first born. So it was such gift that in the midst of all of that, a few weeks ago, Ryder was extended a very special invitation to play for Tustin's AYSO Fire (EXTRA) team. he is over the moon! He wanted it so badly and is looking forward to the Fall season.
(I tease him that even though I was there the day he was born, I still have NO IDEA how with my severe lack of coordination and athleticism that this kid is mine. Kit just smirks, because, well, he knows...❤︎)
