I miss him.

Colorado, here they come!

 Today, Kit is leaving for his annual backpacking/bow-hunting trip with his brother Andrew in Colorado. He will be gone almost 2 weeks and I miss him already. Colorado, be good to these Rae brothers. I miss you already Kit Rae!

 Eden has the privilege to be in the BEST hands for her hypodontia and has some pretty incredible plans laid out for the next 10 years. We are the absolute luckiest to have Dr. Jones and Dr. Cho in our lives!

 I’m working today and seriously, as much as I love the moms and babies that I get to work with and love on, I always need a minute when I get to our staff parking… I usually send Kit a photo or text to pray for me…

I take a minute, then I’m ready.

Varsity

Last Friday, Eden found out she made the Varsity girls soccer team. Ryder, who is one of the captains for boys varsity team was the first to congratulate her. Kid coach shot the photo to capture the moment!

HOCO 2026

 This past Saturday was the kid’s HOCO dance. Kit was the photographer and got to capture the special moments:

I was able to get off early from work to be there!

They had such a fun time!

 This last weekend while we were at the cabin, the kids got to update their growth markings on the wall!

I love that we have this at the cabin!

Labor Day Weekend

We got to be with close friends in Shaver Lake over Labor Day weekend!

It was a quick trip but it was so good! We spent time at the cabin making meals, taking walks to the pond, playing games, watching comedy shows on YouTube tube and doing a whole bunch of laughing and talking. 

We spent one day hiking into the Burn for fishing, cliff jumping, and natural water slides. (Hank was sick so he had stayed home  that day…)

Then we spent a day at the lake!
