A free weekend…

 We went from having three games this last weekend to having them all cancelled due to the weather being in the triple digits. So here are snapshots of a soccer family with a free weekend of eating, the kids at Tiller Days, and church…

 I was scheduled to be at work today so that later this week I can travel with Ryder for soccer… I ended up being on call. That’s just how it goes sometimes…

 While we were on our fall day, Eden wanted to make a decoration for her room. She decided on this wooden ghost.

She painted it and now she has a little vignette on her vanity:

I also had some fun doing some freehand embroidery. I really enjoyed it!

He’s back…

My Kit Rae came back early! In all honesty, It rained due several days straight. It would have been miserable had he stayed. But, they had a really wonderful time before the weather took over… I got some pictures and it just makes my heart so happy that they hurt this every year.

I love that he and Andrew had this time together!

Their first conference!

This last weekend, Ryder had his first MUN (Model United Nations) conference. He is the Secretary General of Operations and as a junior, it’s such an incredible opportunity to lead and he’s doing so well! I asked for a photo and hit his dad’s genes in response:

 In all honesty, whichever number my kids wear has my heart… I got to watch Ryder this weekend and he loves it SO much!!!

It’s Officially Fall!

Since September 22 marks the Fall Solstice, we pulled out all of our house decorations. 

There are a few real pumpkins I want to add as we get further into the season, and I still have to pull out decorations for outside once Kit gets home, but with our favorite candles burning, our house feels ready welcome a new season!

Our Annual Family Fall Day 2026

 Our annual Fall day. Roger’s Garden, Starbucks holiday drinks, Shirley’s Bagels, shopping for Fall treats and books and smelling all the Fall candle scents. We always end the day with Fall/halloween movies and we eat our FAVORITE soup!

I love the chance that we have to make these special memories each year…
