Tuesday traditions…

 On Tuesdays, we meet up at a field near Kit’s office to hang out while eden practices there. It makes me so happy! We discovered a trail and such great conversations!

 Life has been so sweet and full recently. The other day I had a chance to get photos printed and got to scrapbook all the fun adventures! It takes over our dining room when I do it.. 

I really and so thankful for how good life is…

Now it’s their turn..

 This weekend is Ryder’s turn to be in Arizona for a college showcase with his team. This time Kit is going. They will be gone from today until Sunday. 

Ryder has been emailing college coaches that will be there. This feels momentous. The college years are right around the corner…

Over the break Eden and I went to the movies to see Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling. We hadn’t read the book so we felt a little lost and that it went slow. Neither of us have ever had this situation, but we just kept laughing as we asked each other to clarify what was going on… At the end, Eden said, “I mean we can have fun doing anything as long as we are together, even if we are lost in a movie plot…” It made me want to document it here because it was so sweet!

Arizona or bust!

 Eden and so spent the weekend in Arizona for a soccer game on Sunday. 

We don’t really stay in hotels very frequently so each time always feel so fun!

No matter what we do, we have so much fun!

 Ryder took the day after he got home from Spain to recover. We decided to take a little time at Crystal Cove then grab In-N-Out.

We are over the moon that our kid is home and it was so special to get the one on one time!

We have a 16 year old!

 On April 6, our Ryder turned 16! We just can’t believe it! He came home from Spain that day so celebrations were different than normal, but so fun to be together nonetheless…

He’s back!

 On April 6, on his 16th birthday, Ryder came home from Spain! While he was gone, we were able to text and send photos! It made his time away feel so much less painful. Here are some snapshots we got, from their time around Barcelona to games and the MIC tournament, to the Easter service he attended at a beautiful cathedral.

We are SO happy that he got to have this adventure, but we are even more excited that he is home! Spain, thank you for being so good to my kid!
