A few months ago, we did an art nook for Eden in her closet. It sounds weird, but it's just big enough to be a little secret nook, but too small to build out anything. Here is Edens:
Ryder thought that he would want some type of special area in his closet area too, but he already has a desk and didn't know what he would want. So he finally decided he wanted a reading nook.
Emptied and painted:
We had an extra 'R' decal from his room in Fullerton, and we decided to use it.
Little did we know how perfect it would be in our little Bronco fan's room:
He picked his favorite hats for display...
We got one of those bean bags that doubles as a storage bag so not only did he get a spot to sit and snuggle in, but we also got to clear out some of blankets from our hall closet to make things less crowded:
The perfect thing is I can add, take away and adjust it to just what I need, which makes it even better!
We added my childhood cork board, and an extra wooden shelf I had so that he could put his books in it:

The only thing I am waiting on is his lamp, but things have been backordered and hard to get with everything happening, so we are just excited that everything else is ready to go and he is already enjoying it and he uses his headlamp in the meantime...
