So we had gotten Ryder this book to work on over the summer. It had been recommended to us by a sweet friend and we had heard great things about it.
We wanted to add some structure in addition to working on second grade sight words and reading books from our library.
Because of vacations and trips, he was able to do the book of 45 pages in 26 days and just did an amazing job plugging away at it and working though it.
Once he finished it, we had told him that he could pick a lego set with in a certain price range. He had SO much fun looking through Amazon and finally settle on this one:
Ryder said, "MOM! This one has a camper, and it's the closest thing to backpacking with the fire pit, and I know I can put it together fast and then make a camping set up and site with my other Legos!"
His enthusiasm was the absolute sweetest!
