backpacking

Yesterday, we were supposed to be off again to Shaver Lake and the Sierras for a two day back packing trip.  We were planning to meet up with our Grandi and Monkey Papa and our family was really excited about our second family backpacking adventure...

But sometimes things don't always go as planned...
Late yesterday morning, Eden had a fever and was burning up, and Ryder was projectile vomiting.  It came on so FAST!

He looked so small all curled up with his poor tummy!

Both were in tears and SO upset that we might have to cancel the trip.  It really was so heart breaking to have them so excited the weeks before and still wanting to go and having done all the planning for it and with the anticipation and lead up...
We will see what this week holds...
