A few months ago, I set up this little corner by our stairs in our front entry way. It needed light and it was a great place to store blankets and it gave us a spot to place peoples things when they came for a visit.
I wanted to make a little spot for our friends keys or cell phones.
I got this candle plate at Ikea for 3 dollars and I already had all the other supplies. (This project took me less than 10 minutes, not including drying time.)
I did a light sand where I wanted to stamp and picked the phrase stay awhile:
Then I sealed it:
I really enjoyed how it came out:
