This fourth of July, we decided to stay local and immerse ourselves in all that our neighborhood does to make Independence Day so special. They really go all out and we had so much fun enjoying all that it had to offer for our family!
We started the morning with pancakes:
(A family favorite that means we are having a "family day")
We decided to make ribs for dinner:
(I love when this man cooks...)

(And lets not forget all the candy that they get from the parade:)
Then we headed to our park for the carnival:
We did bounce houses and played sweet little carnival games...

We even got to see some very special people at the carnival...
Eden was beside herself...
It was all so much fun!
Then we headed home for naps and to relax before dinner and fireworks with friends!
We really had the best day, just relaxing and enjoying our neighborhood, that still in so many ways feels so new to us.
