Last week we hit some 100 degree weather. I am not going to lie, it was miserable... I think that I anticipate that kind of heat in July and August, but it has been throwing us for a curve ball! We love being outside and when it feels like a hot blow dryer as you walk out the door, it just makes you want to turn right back around and stay in the air conditioning.
So here is what we did to fill our days:
A bin of beans and plastic animals kept Ryder happy for such LONG time!
We have tried some new recipes and had some fun baking:

Our favorite movies right now are Planes and Chicken Little:

Puzzles, frozen grapes, and fruit popsicles:
Eden was all about the snacks and while she was contained, I got to play with her hair and giver her her first pig tails:
We are going to feel really prepared when summer comes around. The kiddos have been hanging in there and handling it like champs!
