We got home yesterday afternoon so that I could work today. The trip was amazing. We made some stops on the way home. When we got home, Kit said, "even if it's 'just us' at our Thanksgiving table, that's more than enough for me..."
So after driving 7 hours, with a few fun stops on the way home:
...Kit made some of our Thanksgiving favorites, including a smoked turkey breast and it was all SO GOOD!
Trips like the one we just took reminded me that when everything is stripped away and I see that it is "just us", I know that that will ALWAYS be more than enough for me, and for that, I am so incredibly grateful...
