We had the best time on our mini road trip over Thanksgiving week. Here are a few little snap shots... Our first night, we camped at the base of the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River. On the way, we stopped in the tiny town of Oatman to see the wild donkeys. We also got to drive most of the day on Route 66...
We checked out the mine too...
Then heading out of town to our camping location, the donkeys line the highway...
We passed through Peach Springs, which was the inspiration of the "Cars" movie:
(As a mother who watched the Cars movies 1000 times, something like this feels BIG...)
Then we were on to our camp site:

Kit made the most amazing breakfast and coffee...
We absolutely loved every second of this part of our trip...
Then we were on our way to Sedona...
But first, we were stopped in Seligman, the start of Route 66.
