This was an incredibly low-key spring break for our family. We stayed local, Kit had to work, and the week was not in any correlation with Easter and having time off as a family. Though it didn't feel like a normal Spring Break, we had a really great time, taking a break from the usual routine and having some fun along the way. We started with time in Redlands where we worked on Eden's quilt, celebrated Aunt Colie's birthday, the kids played video games, and they saw the movie Wonder Park.
We also decided/voted as a family to go to Croatia and Solvania next Spring Break 2020! There are no words to tell you how excited we are. Our Mia and Papa are making this trip possible and it is already so exciting with all the planning!!! We. Can't. Wait!
One morning we went out to breakfast and brought our Madlibs book along...
So much laughter!
We went and saw the last How To Train Your Dragon:
We got doughnuts in our Pajamas and considered that an actual breakfast:
We went to Rockin Jump twice. The first day we went with just ourselves:
Then we got some flowers to plant by our bird house to welcome Spring:
Then the next day we met up with our friends the Elkins for jumping and lunch at Chic-Fil-A:
We love them so much!
Then we had a day where we headed to the Adventure Playground in Irvine with some friends:
Then ended at Hobby Lobby for some crafts to take home:
Ryder ended up with special putty that changes color with heat and Eden made a hamster-looking fluffy pet:
Ryder also put together a toy that he had gotten for Christmas:
They had so much fun with this kit!
We ended with having creme brulee for dessert:
the kids were SUPER EXCITED about getting to use the torch!

Such a SWEET way to end our spring break:
The week was good for us and I am thankful that we had the time together! It makes us excited about Summer, which I know will be here before we know it...❤︎
