Let there be light!

Downstairs in our home, the only overhead lighting that we had were three can lights in the kitchen and a "chandelier" in the dining room and one light in our office nook.  Other than that, it was either dark or we tried to lighten it up with lamps.  So this last week we finally bit the bullet and had lighting installed in our living room and fire place room.

Here was the before:

This was taken around noon, usually our brightest time of the day.

 Here's the fireplace room.  Again, as bright as it could get...

And here is the finished product!
The fireplace room is now my favorite...
You can actually see all the work that Kit did on the mantel and fireplace!

 We just touched up the ceiling patches and it was done.

We can't believe how great it turned out.  We are so thankful that we were finally able to do it so that we can better utilize the space!  One of the things that lit a fire under us to get it done was we have recently started a life group and we host every week.  It has been so fun not to have to share in the dark...❤️
