We have been running like crazy the last few weeks with lots of parties and gatherings.
So yesterday when we woke up with NO PLANS, the kids and I headed to Disneyland and California Adventure for a spontaneous morning of fun!
We got there right after it opened at 9 and left a little after 1 so that we could be home for naps:
We started in Disneyland and the Astro Blasters:
...Took a picture at the Castle and went through the Sleeping Beauty storybook walkthrough...
...Then we headed to The Tarzan treehouse. (We still think they should have left it the Swiss Family Robinson house, but it's still really cool and the kids LOVE it!)
Then we headed to California Adventure where we started with the Little Mermaid:
...Took a picture by the ferris wheel...
We sat there for awhile getting snacks and eating the lunches that we brought.
Then headed over to the Toy Story Midway Mania for the 3D ride that will make you sick if you get motion sickness. The kids LOVED it!
Then we finished at Monster's Inc:
It was a great day, we made some sweet memories and Ryder kept telling me "Thank you for the special day, mama!" We can't wait to go again very soon!
We need more spontaneous special days...
