This week the kids have Spring Break and we are looking forward to just taking time to unplug and spend time together.

We are getting so close…

 We had a consult with our orthodontist as Ryder is nearing the end of time in braces… 

It was like watching him grow up before my eyes.. Dr. Baum is the BEST!

 Thursday… I always wonder what the day will hold, but I know the One who has gone before me…

Weekend snapshots…

 Ryder had two games this weekend. Kit always gets such fun shots.  

It is do fun to watch him play. He loves it so much!

Historical moments at our church

 Our church is stepping into conversations of women in leadership and having women elders on our board. We have been praying, studying scripture, and commentaries and learning do much about church history through the Bible. It feels historical and I am so proud of our church!

celebrating our kid…

Last week Ryder had his high school soccer banquet. It was a very special night for our kid:

We are so proud of this kid. He was celebrated with team mates as a scholar athlete for his 4.6 GPA and then he was chosen by his team and coaches as the Frosh MVP. To hear his coach affirm his character on and off the field meant so much to me. The words that meant the most were: “He’s the person we all look up to, and he’s the leader that lifts your head on a cloudy day…” Well done, Ryder. You are such a blessing in my life and it is truly an honor to be your mom.
