My Easter decorations…

Here’s my Easter decorating tip that I’ve used since 2020: invite your bunnies. This bunny LOVES the outdoors and though she only likes people on a case by case basis, she’s all about bringing the festive fun…

And an added bonus, bunny snuggles can be given as party favors…😉 Seriously, post Easter service, bunny snuggles are the best!!!

a little craft project…

I love our letter boards, but I wanted to update the frames, since all the wood in our house is a darker finish. So I decided to stain the frames:

I love how they turned out! Just in time for Ryder’s birthday!

15

Ryder turned 15 on April 6. He wanted a hangout with a close friend and to make a plan with his dad for their annual trip. Here were some snapshots of his birthday weekend:

Basketball while watching March Madness:

Then moving to gaming:
Homemade chocolate chip cookies with ice cream were requested:
Doughnuts… Always…
Then we ended the birthday weekend at Korean BBQ and gifts and dessert at home:

It was such a sweet weekend!

I just can’t believe how fast our kid is growing up!

snapshots..

I don’t want to miss the simple things recently, so here are some snapshots…

Things blooming on my morning walk, Ryder letting Eden game after an intense game, baking and cooking, brushing and braiding my girls hair, Eden crafting, and talking on the phone with my sister with my bunny at my feet… Really sweet moments…

It must be Thursday…

Last week I was called off and the shift before that I was running crazy, you just never know but regardless, my brain on Thursday morning is ALWAYS here.

Spoiler alert, today I’m on standby call…

therapy animals

I love having these bunnies. They really bring me so much joy (and therapy…)

We just naturally gravitate towards spending time with these two every day…
I’m telling you, they are therapy.

State Cup 2025

Over the last few weekends, Ryder’s team has competed in State Cup. It rained the first weekend, so we were rescheduled in Temecula and San Diego over the course of three weekends.  We are moving on and I’m not sure the finish line yet… We love watching this kid play. At this time, Ryder has been pulled up to Strikers EA for 2010, so this was the last time this specific team would be together.

It was sweet to watch them battle together! They keep moving on so I will keep you posted!
