In mid November, Eden fractured the base of her right thumb in a rainy soccer match. We had to have it casted for over a month and she honestly had the best attitude about it. We don’t like the cast so we named him Jerry. It’s easier to be mad or frustrated when we can get mad at him by name.
This week marked wearing the cast for 1 month, so we headed to the orthopedist to have it checked on for updates. It’s not heal g as quickly as we would like so she hit to evict her old cast and get a removable one and we will follow up in 6 weeks.
We celebrated the new REMOVABLE cast with Starbucks… She’s had the best attitude in the discouraging moments… I’m so proud of her!
