This year was filled with our neighborhood traditions as well as our annual time with our close friends for swimming, eating, and fireworks!
We started off the morning with a cinnamon roll breakfast:
Then we headed to the parade:
This year, Eden walked in the parade with the swim team.
There were Pixar themed cars this year and they were a favorite:
We spent time at the carnival for games and treats, hosted by Tustin Highs School Boosters:
Then we headed to the Elkin's house for swimming, eating A LOT of food, and watching fire works. This is our 6th year spending the holiday together and each year it is such a special gift to be together!
Kit's BBQ ribs are one of Ryder's all time favorite things!
We have so much fun planning the menu for the day.
These adults are SO FUN!!!
There are fireworks that you can see from miles around and they are just spectacular!
Getting to swim AND watch fireworks is pretty amazing...
Front yard shenanigans with small children and fire...
It was such a special day of celebration, enjoying it people that we love. We are so grateful for the people that have gone before us who have fought for our freedoms, so that we can live in a place called the land of the free and the home of the brave...
We are forever grateful...
