Series of unfortunte events...

A few weeks ago our air conditioner broke.  We have to have it replaced, but because the side of our house is too narrow, we are required to have a slim version to keep it a certain distance from our fence.  The new thin unit is a few inches taller, so we had to remove a bump out garden window that the previous owner had put in for her cats.  To remove the garden window, we had to get a new window, redo the stucco around it and seal and trim out the inside to make it all fit.
So here is the project in pictures:
Before:
Our favorite contractor came down to help us if there were any problem.❤︎
These two have worked on MANY of our house projects and we could not love or appreciate this man enough.  (Also his beautiful right-hand woman, in addition to trouble shooting problems, keeps me calm when I think that we might be taking on too big a of a project.  Note, we have NEVER not finished something we have tackled together.)
We found a window on sale!
We had to make room for the new window:
 Sealing things up...
Getting the trim up and painted...
There was an dead outlet that we were able to cover up too.
The outside stucco is still being finished and they haven't installed the new air conditioner unit yet, but the inside is making us so happy!
The window helps keep the cool air in and you can open it for a breeze.  Here is the window on our walk through over four years ago:
We are so thankful that the unfortunate events have led to this finished house project that we wanted to tackle when we first walked through this house.
