Last week, we went and picked out our Christmas tree and had so much fun with all of our traditions that come with it:
We got to the lot to pick out our noble fir:
They love looking at all the blowups and decorations:
Then we head to In-N-Out:
(It's right next to the tree lot so we can get an early dinner and there is no prep or cleanup for Kit and I which means we can get to the decorating even faster!)
Then head home for the festivities:
We love pulling out our home made garlands and ornaments while eating chocolate treats that we picked out Trader Joes earlier that day:

We then pull out our first Christmas story cards and read it while we set up the nativity scene.
Then Kit prays for us as we enter the holiday season that we would keep Christ in the center of all that we do, and that we would not forget his birth and that He is the reason that we celebrate Christmas! The evening is such a sweet one for us and we look forward to it each year. I am so thankful for this little family of mine and the traditions that we have been able to create together!
