This trip is one of our favorites. My parents have rented the same beach house for the last 8 years and we LOVE it!
We always eat our first dinner at Toppers Pizza:
The time around the house is spent eating, playing games, reading on the roof top patio, laughing, spending time in the Jacuzzi after the beach, and for taking the mornings VERY slow:
The little Pirate Park is for cousins playing and playing smash ball, long walks for talks, and riding our bikes:
And the beach is for cousins, sand castle creations, surf fishing, reading, Irish darts, talking, more laughing, and resting:
He catches Perch and Corbina. It's catch and release.
Eden "surfing":
Eden found a shell and proceeded to use it like her phone and have real conversations on it.
We went into LA for the day to eat amazing doughnuts, and to see a Dodger game.
Kettle Glazed... We will be BACK!
It was the first Dodger Stadium experience for Eden, my Mom, and my self.
He loves the game!
The National Anthem:

Oh this girl of mine...
My parents too the train with the grandkids.
It was Eden's first time on the train!
"Minecrafting" their way up the coast...
Our plan had been to take the kids to the Moxi Children's Museum, located directly next to the train station:
We ALL loved it!
This guitar is what greets you!
So many things to explore!
Then we ate tacos at an amazing place around the corner!
Then we headed for sweet treats at the Santa Barbara Market!
This place sells chocolate covered cookie dough balls:
They were heaven!
The week was incredible and we are SO thankful for the opportunity that my parents give our whole family to be together in this beautiful place! It is already booked for next year and we are already thinking about next years adventures as we savor the ones from this year.
Family time is the best time!
