Since we have been married, we have alway gotten a real tree, usually a douglas fir, except for the first year when we were in our first apartment and we were in escrow on our Fullerton house and we bought a potted rosemary "tree" and decorated it with ribbon.
We love getting our tree up and decorated!
Our decorations are full of home made goodness and it makes my heart so happy to pull them each out every year...

Kit also poured himself a glass of non-alcoholic egg nog...
