We spent December 29-January 1 in Santa Maria with our family and we really had a great time celebrating Christmas and ringing in the New Year!

(Ryder kept saying, "baby gun" and "I'm going to go shoot some babies!" We are working on it.♥)
Grandi had made such a menu and we got to talk and cook in the kitchen together... Such fun for me!
Getting haircuts with Aunt Megan:

Ringing in the new year with games, (Megan and I sat and talked until midnight rolled around. We toasted at 9pm with the kids.)
Ryder helped make an apple pie for dessert:

On New Years Day, we drove out to this canyon and looked for deer and turkeys and found some!
Then on New Years Day we headed to Avila beach.
We walked on the pier:
(It was so bright and the kiddos did not want to take their glasses off. I of course capitalized on photo opportunity...♥)
Eden wanted to get down on this skinny plank that didn't have a railing to separate here from the ocean. She protested to no avail!

We had a great trip and we are ready for all that the New Year holds!
