Valentine's Day 2021!

Over the weekend we celebrated Valentine's Day with our special dinner and since it was a long weekend,  we got some extra time together too, which is a Valentine's gift in itself!

Kit cooked and always does a killer job!

We set up the table to make is extra special.  Eden and I made the hearts together:

The boys gave us flowers:

Chocolate covered strawberries for the win:
It was such a sweet celebration and a really wonderful Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day came early!

Yesterday the kids had their school Valentine's Day parties.  They both had fun having a more relaxed day.  They both came home with large bags of sweet notes and non-edible trinkets.  Covid has made things like these parties so different, but they were so excited to have a different rhythm to the day!  The two things that they came home with were:  Eden's party craft was a little canvas that she painted and attached her photo and paper hearts to...

Also a favorite was when she got home, she and her best little buddy had Face time to look through all their goodies, which was so stinking cute!
Ryder's classmates all sent compliments and affirmations to each other that were compiled and laminated for each kiddo...
We are excited for our 4 day weekend and are looking forward to some family time and getting to be together and celebrate Valentine's Day as a family with some of our special traditions!

More fun with Kiwi Crates!

Yesterday we had so much fun working on the kids Kiwi Crates. Ryder made an Arcade catapult game and eden created paper lanterns...

We absolutely love these kits! Thank you Grandi and Monkey Papa for spoiling our kids with them for Christmas!

We tried a new recipe and we LOVED it!

I have been instructed to make this a lot more!

These faces...

Last week the kids brought me their school pictures:

I realized that this will be Ryder's last elementary school photo.  I might have wanted to cry...
Then I went to update their school picture frames and Ryder's kindergarten photo was right on top:
I might have actually cried...
Time is going so fast!
Also Ryder got his 5th grade shirt:
Heaven help us all, I can't believe that he is going to be a middle schooler!

But what does she do all day?

The kids are in school for about 2 1/2 hours, 4 days a week.  Eden recently was very concerned that I don't play with the bunny enough while they are at school.  So I captured some moments the other day so that Eden's little worries about me not interacting enough with our pet could be put to rest...

She played with the playhouse:

She accessorized with Eden's doll stuff:
And she read her favorite book:
Her days are very full and after Eden saw these, she was very happy that I don't neglect our family pet and that our bunny has fun while the kids are away...❤︎

Oh goodness...

I'll never understand how I got to be the lucky one to share life with these three... My heart is so full!
